UNESCO’s innovation vision is: innovation is the key to promote economy growth and competitiveness, which is vital to bring society together, equally and poverty alleviation work.

The Key initiatives for UNESCO to promote a culture of innovation include: promoting the development of innovative ecosystems; supporting the development of innovation platforms; and promoting innovation and innovation added- value- at the grassroots level.
